FREE YOGA CLASS FOR
BEGINNERS

This is a free class for those that are new to yoga and interested in taking the first steps towards creating a yoga practice. No advance reservations required. Just come and bring a friend...or two!

Tai Chi
Zion will be teaching two Tai-Chi classes in July at One2Yoga. 
$20 per class 
Originating in ancient China, Tai-Chi was created on the basis of nature and harmony. The gentle flowing movements contain inner power that strengthens the body, improves mental balance and brings better health and harmony to one's life.  Now practiced all over the world, it is considered one of the most effective exercises for health of mind and body.
   Zion Huang, Instructor
Zion is a first generation immigrant from Taiwan who came to the U.S. for graduate study and has a master's degree in Information Systems.  He has studied Chinese martial arts since high school in Taiwan and joined the Tai-Chi Chuan Club while a student in Chung-Hsing University.  Since then, he has studied with  Mr. Kesheng Ma. from Mainland China who  has practiced Tai-Chi Chuan for more than 30 years and has  won several medals through attending U.S. Southern Region Tai-Chi Competition. Zion  has also studied Qi-Gong from Master Hong who is a renowned Qi-Gong Master from China.  In addition, Zion has received his certification by Dr. Lam and the Arthritis Foundation to teach Tai-Chi for Arthritis. He has taught public and private Tai-Chi classes and seminars in Nashville for more than 10 years.  Currently, he is also pursuing a National Acupuncture Certification through studying at the Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine.
