Jan Thrasher

Director - is dedicated to teaching yoga asanas, pranayama and meditation. She received her Yoga Teacher certification from the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, California. Her study of Yoga is a variable combination of Classical and contemporary techniques drawn from the best major systems today - Iyengar, Ashtanga and Viniyoga. She is a member of the California Yoga Teachers Association.

Brent Wright

Brent Wright has been studying and practicing Yoga for over 10 years.
In  2003 he was certified in the Iyengar method by Betty Larsen and John Charping at the Southern Institute for Yoga Instructors (SIYI).  In addition, he has studied with many nationally recognized teachers such as Rodney Yee, Shiva Rea, Ramanand Patel, Judith Lasater and Roger Cole, to name a few.  He has also completed his Thai Yoga Massage Therapy training with Saul David Raye at the White Lotus Foundation in California.  Brent's message is to share with people some of the many blessings and teachings that his teachers have shared and bestowed upon him.  He also wants to inspire more men to take advantage of the benefits and positive enhancements that a regular Yoga practice can bring into their life.  

Mary Etta Rose

Mary Etta Rose, is a registered yoga teacher with 200 training hours. She completed her yoga teacher training from Nashville's Yoga Room in 2006, after studying yoga with Jan Thrasher for several years.  She regularly teaches yoga and yoga/pilates in Lebanon, Old Hickory and at Vanderbilt University.  She has also studied with such national teachers as Judith Lasater and Rodney Yee.

Keri VandeWater

Aquired her teaching certificate from the International Yoga Institute in Georgia. She has studied in a variety of styles including Ananda and Vinyasa. Her teaching style focuses mainly on seeking to understand the beauty of yoga both in practice and in life. She is a member of the California Yoga Teachers Association.

Colleen Smallwood

Received her Yoga Teacher Certification from the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, California. She is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years experience in the Health and Wellness Industry and an A.C.E. Certified Personal Trainer. Her teaching style reflects the nature of loving yourself and your body through holistic practices.

 Zion Huang
-Zion is a first generation immigrant from Taiwan who came to the U.S. for graduate study and has a master's degree in Information Systems.  He has studied Chinese martial arts since high school in Taiwan and joined the Tai-Chi Chuan Club while a student in Chung-Hsing University.  Since then, he has studied with  Mr. Kesheng Ma. from Mainland China who  has practiced Tai-Chi Chuan for more than 30 years and has  won several medals through attending U.S. Southern Region Tai-Chi Competition. Zion  has also studied Qi-Gong from Master Hong who is a renowned Qi-Gong Master from China.  In addition, Zion has received his certification by Dr. Lam and the Arthritis Foundation to teach Tai-Chi for Arthritis. He has taught public and private Tai-Chi classes and seminars in Nashville for more than 10 years.  Currently, he is also pursuing a National Acupuncture Certification through studying at the Jung Tao School of Classical Chinese Medicine.




Nazaneen


Nazaneen is an experienced teacher and performer (+15 years) in various forms of middle eastern dance, including modern and classical Egyptian Raqs Sharqi (belly dance), various Arabic folk dances as well as Persian classical and folk dance.  She began teaching and performing professionally in 2001 and has delighted audiences in both Atlanta and Miami.  Since 2006 she has been teaching and performing in Nashville and surrounding areas, both as a soloist and as a member of Atlantis World Dance Company.
